ATT received two prestigious awards in one day when the Thrive Safety Leadership Centre was announced as winner of the Energy Institute’s 2021 Health & Safety Award and received the Gold Award for Best Training Event at the EVCOM London Live and Film Awards on Thursday 25th November.
Thrive, which was developed in partnership with renewable energy giant Ørsted, features a hard-hitting, multi-media scenario which examines the build-up to a fatal incident on a load-out operation and its consequences. Ørsted are inducting all personnel working on the Hornsea Two offshore wind farm project through Thrive. Valuable for people working in renewables, maritime and related sectors, Thrive is a legacy for Hornsea Two and a powerful example of innovation and excellence in the Humber’s rapidly developing renewables sector.
Energy Institute Awards judge, Ashley Hynds, Technical Director of Safety at WSP UK Ltd, said “ATT’s Thrive programme with Ørsted is clearly outstanding, and a worthy winner of the Energy Institute’s 2021 Health & Safety Award.
